CHIJ Secondary accepts applications for admission that will be considered at the end of every year, pending vacancies.
Admission to Secondary One
Please note that admission to Secondary One is through MOE’s Secondary One Posting Exercise. Interested students who wish to appeal for admission must meet the cut-off point for the school ( non-negotiable). Appeal Forms are available from the General Office.
Admission to Secondary Two
Secondary Two appeals for admission will only be considered from end- October annually. Interested Secondary One students can fill in the Admission Form, and submit it with relevant documents to the General Office, at the end of their Secondary One year. Please note that this is subject to vacancies.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Candidates should present themselves holistically, with information on interests, talents, contributions and other strengths.
Admission to Secondary Three
CHIJ Secondary welcomes local students or Returning Singaporeans who wish to be enrolled in Sec 3 Express Stream in 2018. Local students or Returning Singaporeans who wish to be enrolled in Sec 3 Express Stream in 2018 will have to apply and sit for the Entrance Assessments which will be conducted in our school.
Secondary Three applicants will have to take the school’s Entrance Assessments in English, Mathematics and Science as part of the application process.

Admission to Secondary Four
The school does not accept applications for admission in the graduating year.

• Students sitting for Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) conducted by Ministry of Education (Singapore) for admission into Secondary One studies are not eligible to sit for the Admission Test. Such students will be considered for admission through the Secondary 1 posting exercise conducted by the Ministry in November / December each year.
• New international students are not eligible to sit for the Admissions Test conducted by our school. New international students who do not have a place in a local school and who wish to seek admission into Sec 1 – 3 levels in January must take part in the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS). The AEIS is a centralised admissions exercise conducted by MOE around September or October each year for new international students who wish to join the mainstream secondary schools. Interested applicants should approach MOE Customer Service Centre (Hotline : +65 6872220) for assistance.
• Current international students already enrolled in a local school must be in the current school for at least one year to be eligible to sit for the Admission Test.
