Stepped Up Precautionary Measures For 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-ncov)

In view of developments in the Novel Coronavirus situation, our school will be stepping up its precautionary measures from 5 February 2020.

To keep our school community safe, visual screening, temperature taking and travel declarations will be put in place for all visitors of the school.

We seek your understanding and cooperation to work with our security colleagues if you are approached when you enter the school.

We are reviewing our programmes and will make adjustments, where necessary, to ensure that our students and staff remain safe and healthy:

a)    Flag raising and daily temperature taking will continue to be held in the classrooms.

b)    Mass activities or outdoor activities, such as camps, Learning Journeys and Values In Action (VIA) activities, will be modified to minimise exposure to large crowds or postponed until a more suitable time when the situation stabilizes. Certain activities may be cancelled.

c)    CCAs will continue, but we will reduce the group size where possible.

We will continue to update parents and students progressively on affected programmes and activities. Do keep a look out for our announcements.

While our teachers are actively looking out for our students’ well-being, we seek your continued support to encourage your daughter/ward to practise good personal hygiene and be socially responsible. If she is unwell, your daughter/ward should see the doctor promptly, and remain at home until she recovers fully.

Thank you for your partnership during this period. God bless.
