Applications for Admission to CHIJ Secondary for Academic Year 2021

All applications are subject to vacancies available.

Admission to Secondary One
Students are placed in secondary schools through the Secondary One Posting Process by MOE. Students who wish to appeal for admission must meet the cut-off point of the school. Appeal Forms are available online after release of Sec 1 posting in December. 

Admission to Secondary Two Express Stream 
The application for admission will only be opened in October annually. Applications for admission are subject to availability.

Interested local students or returning Singaporeans can complete the Application for Admission Form, and submit it with relevant documents to the General Office. Applicants will have to take the school’s Entrance Assessments in English, Mathematics and Science as part of this application process. Applicants who cleared the school’s entrance assessment may have to attend an interview. Candidates should present themselves holistically, with information on interests, talents, contributions and other strengths.

The school does not accept applications for admission in the graduating year.

Important Note: 
  • Students who have sat for Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) conducted by Ministry of Education (Singapore) for admission into Secondary One studies should wait for the release of Sec 1 Posting results before considering applying for admissions to CHIJ Secondary.
  • New international students who do not have a place in a local school and who wish to seek admission into Sec 1 – 3 levels in January must take part in the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS). The AEIS is a centralised admissions exercise conducted by MOE around September or October each year for new international students who wish to join the mainstream secondary schools. Interested applicants should approach MOE Customer Service Centre (Hotline : +65 6872 220) for assistance.
  • Current international students already enrolled in a local school must be in the current school for at least one year to be eligible to apply for admissions to CHIJ Secondary.
