Dragonboating 1.jpeg
CHIJ Dragonboating challenges the individual to overcome their physical and mental limitations to be the best that they could be. Dragonboating trainings are divided into water and land activities. For water activities, the girls train and participate in dragonboating competitions like the National Inter-schools Dragon-boat Competition and Temasek Regatta. The land activities are to complement the girls dragonboating trainings to improve on their physical strength and endurance.

CHIJ Dragonboating has done well in recent National Inter-schools Dragon-boat Competitions.

Year C Div B Div
DB 22: Second runner-up
2019   ---- DB12: 4th Position (Temasek Regatta)
2021 --- 4th Position (Century Race)

Other than dragonboating, the girls do rock-climbing and kayaking to broaden their experiences in the outdoors. At the end of their stay with us, all students will achieve SNCS (Singapore National Climbing Standards) Level 1 certification and Kayaking 1 Star certification.

All activities provide numerous opportunities and occasions for the girls to step out of their comfort zones and work as a team. These activities train mental toughness and physical endurance, often stretching the girls to new heights.
